Hewitt Mineral Corporation
|
Hewitt Mineral Corporation, named for the
small, early day, western Carter County,
Oklahoma, town of Hewitt, represents a
continuation of the vision of several local early
day pioneers in the oil and gas industry. Its
initial inventory included interests around the
town of Hewitt. The corporate officers and
directors still monitor several of the early day
leases acquired during the years of World War I,
some of which are still producing and
contributing to the company's net income.
Lewis Samuel Dolman, one of the founding
members of the company.
